Mikołaj combines legal expertise with a deep understanding of the realities of business operations, technology, and risk management. He advises companies, board members, and investors on complex legal and business matters, focusing his practice in particular on corporate and commercial law as well as M&A transactions. A significant part of his practice involves supporting companies in digital transformation processes and the implementation of new technologies, particularly in the areas of IT contracts, IT system implementations and integrations, cloud and technology services, data management, cybersecurity, and the implementation of artificial intelligence solutions.
He has many years of experience as in-house counsel at a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW), where he was responsible for legal and corporate matters as well as investor relations. As a result, he approaches legal issues not only from a regulatory perspective but also by considering their practical impact on a company’s operations and business performance.
As a certified lead auditor for ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and an internal auditor for ISO/IEC 42001:2023, Mikołaj combines legal counsel with practical knowledge of information security management systems and artificial intelligence. This enables him to support clients in developing cohesive compliance systems that integrate legal, organizational, and technical requirements, as well as in adapting their operations to the rapidly changing European regulatory landscape, including the AI Act, DORA, the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), the GDPR, and cybersecurity regulations.
