After more than two years of work to transpose EU legislation, Poland finally implemented the whistleblower protection standards of EU Directive 2019/1937.
The new whistleblower protection regulations will come into force 3 months after their publication in the Journal of Laws. This means that entrepreneurs have time until 24 September 2024 to implement internal procedures.
During the webinar, we will explain in detail:
- Who a whistleblower is and how to protect them
- Who is required to implement the new regulations, the deadline for implementation and the obligations the regulations place on the organization.
- How to make and receive breach notifications
- What practical aspects need to be considered when implementing whistleblower protection in an organization
- What the sanctions are for non-compliance with the new law
