Bill on crowdfunding of business projects and aid to borrowers
The Sejm has passed the Act on crowdfunding of business projects and aid to borrowers (“Act”)
30 May 2022 marked the entry into force of the main part (relating to calls) of the Act of 7 April 2022 amending the act on covered bonds and mortgage banks and some other acts (the “Act”).
E-delivery is a mechanism intended to improve exchange of correspondence between entities by receiving and sending e-correspondence with no need to use hard copies. It was introduced upon the Act of 18 November 2020 on e-deliveries, which took effect on 5 October 2021.
On 4 April 2022, the President of Poland signed an act amending the Code of Commercial Companies and some other acts (“Amendment”), which is going to take effect on 13 October 2022. In addition to the notion of a “group of companies” introduced to the Polish legal order, the amendment also provides for some material changes to the operation of capital companies, including increased competence of supervisory boards. Presented below is a brief description of changes implemented by the amendment.
According to the amended Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act, activities performed for companies and trusts and activities in the field of virtual currencies have become regulated activities within the meaning of the Entrepreneur Law of 6 March 2018.
A new whistleblower bill has just been published on the government website. The current version incorporates a number of comments and ideas submitted during the public consultations. First of all, the period of vacatio legis of the bill has been extended (from two weeks to two months). Moreover, an additional period of one month from the effective date of the act was provided to adapt to the new regulations.

On 22 March 2022, the Council of Ministers passed a bill of amendment to the Act on National Court Register prepared by the Ministry of Justice. The bill was introduced to the Sejm on 29 March 2022 and went for the first reading.
