Checking COVID-19 vaccination status and testing employees – a new bill
On 14 December 2021, a private member’s bill on specific solutions which enable business activity during COVID-19 pandemics was posted on the website of the Polish Sejm.

From 31 October 2021, any business activity which involves providing certain services to companies or trusts will be a regulated activity. This means that carrying on such activities will only be possible after an entry is made in the register of activities for companies or trusts (“Register”) administered by the Head of the Fiscal Administration Chamber in Katowice.
On 31 October 2021, changes regarding the Central Register of Beneficial Owners (“CRBiR”) take effect. The changes were implemented upon the Act of 30 March 2021 amending the Act on Anti Money Laundering and Counteracting Terrorism Financing and some other acts (Journal of Laws item 815).
On 4 October 2021, assumptions underlying the bill on whistleblower protection (hereinafter: the Bill) were published on the website of the Council of Ministers. The Bill is intended to implement the EU Directive on Whistleblower Protection – Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law (EU Official Journal L 2019 no 305 p. 17).
