Poland – key findings:

Combating workplace bullying: The Sejm has adopted new regulations aimed at simplifying and clarifying the definition of workplace bullying, expanding the list of unacceptable behaviors.

Remote work without the employer’s consent: The court confirmed that performing remote work from abroad without the employer’s consent may justify disciplinary dismissal, especially in cases involving access to sensitive data.

Group incentive programs: According to the Social Insurance Institution’s (ZUS) interpretation, the granting of a conditional right to acquire shares by a foreign parent company does not constitute income from employment and is not subject to social security contributions.
